• Big Bang Theory Thoughts

  Note: Some of you, those whom are on my facebook, will have already seen a shorter version of this... 

  I think it was last year when two of my friends, Brandi and Buttercup, had a discussion --right in front of me, mind you-- debating how much I looked like someone named Bernadette. At the time I hadn't the slightest idea who or what they were talking about, so after much pestering they finally told me she was a character on a TV show. I didn't think much of it at the time, I sort of shrugged it off and made a mental note to check out the show sometime. After all, I was apparently named after Jaime Summers from the tv show called "Bionic Woman", so why would looking like another  character be all that big a deal? 

  But this was just the first instance. Since then I've had other friends mention it, relatives say it, a coworker contemplate it, and even some ladies in a public washroom get into a conversation about it! Needless to say, by that point, I decided that I really really needed to watch the show. I put myself on the waiting list on the library and, well, waited. I just finished watching the third season the other day, and so far I absolutely LOVE the show. It's my new favourite!

  To be honest, I don't really understand half of the things that are said on the show by the physicists, and I wonder how many people actually do. Well, aside from actual physicists and other science aficionados that is. Nevertheless, I find the sitcom rather hilarious and seriously want to own the series dvds myself (If only so I wont have to continually get them out from the library). I think I shall have to put them on the Christmas list for next year

  Back to the topic on hand... For those who know the show rather well, you already realize that Bernadette barely makes an appearance by season three. I can only presume that her character shows up again much more in either the fourth or fifth season, so then I'll be able to have an opinion about whether I am all that like her in personality --which is something friends have mentioned, though strangers haven't seeing as they don't know me and all. I will admit that there is a wee bit of familiarity in appearance, so I'll give everyone that. What do you think?
