    Hey Luvies!

I haven't really given y'all an update other than the pix from my birthday which I had all set up before I even headed to my parents' house for the holidays. I caught a ride with that friend of da's who has a house in the area, and I spent the entire trip listening to christmas songs on my music player and texting half a dozen pals. The traffic wasn't too bad, thankfully, once we got out of the GTA.

I barely got home and pseudo 'unpacked' before getting ready to head out again. Buttercup was leaving the next day for the west coast to visit with his family, so it was the only chance I'd get to see him before christmas, and possibly at all (depending on when i head back to the big city). we stopped by timmy's and then went to the park to walk around. pleased

Another friend was leaving on saturday, my bff from high school. She is moving to the Kingston area, so I went to her house to visit her and my god-daughters while waiting for the moving truck and huge hulking friends to arrive. The two little ones were ill which wasn't good, but they should all be back for christmas and hopefully have time for more visiting then. I then walked to the bus terminal to catch a ride home with my dad as he suggested. It was frikken cold out and he was wearing shorts and a tshirt shocked

Sunday I went to church and got a whack load of hugs *yAy* though only one person remembered my birthday was coming up. Oddly, I have been going to that church since high school and ten years later they still don't know my birthday, though they know other people's days *harumph* But Nanny K, my church bff's grandmother, brought me a christmas prezzie which is a beautiful red and silver scarf that you see in my birthday photo in my last post. It even snowed a little bit that morning!

On Monday Dad dragged me out on errands. My computer had conked out and had to be fixed but we couldn't take it in until this day, thankfully I was still under the warranty-coverage thingie and it didn't cost me a cent. They said they might get it done that day, but unfortunately didn't. Dad dragged me from central to the north end of town going into billions of stores to buy christmas prezzies and even groceries. i even took a pic of the reindeer in one of the stores I was that bored whatevah

Tuesday was my birthday. I slept in and then my dad called to wake me up and to warn me he was on his way home. He made me an "egg mcmuffin" and then we went out to do more of his christmas shopping (this time central to south side of town). We had just left one store near the library and i wanted to see if any of the books i requested were in. he told me to meet him at another store, but when i got there he wasn't! he didn't show up for another fifteen minutes and by then i already did all the looking around i wanted *L0L* we then stopped at home to pick up mum and go out to pizza hut for dinner, after that we went to my papa's house as he kept trying to call me all day but i was never in. then we came home for cake and my prezzies. My parents got me three movies and a book, my nana a cross necklace, my grandparents some money, my papa and dona a purple toque and some money.

Wednesday I just lounged about the house and did some editing until late afternoon when my parents asked if i wanted to go to the dollarama with them. i don't know about y'all, but i love the dollar store! Then they went out for chinese, and i got ready for my dinner with my friend E who recently moved back to kingston. That 'getting ready' consisted of changing into dry clothes since it was pouring out and pulling my hair back  We went out to Boston Pizza and chatted for a while, which was great since we've hardly had a chance to talk at all in the past year!

So there you have it, a photo post about my past week

I go home tonight & come back {hopefully with a car} on the 1st or 2nd. I'm hoping 1st because I have lots to do at the apartment.... I need to get a roommate now {gah} since I need a new car & can't afford that AND a place to live! *sighs* This sucks.
